Jamie Oliver has a cook book called The Naked Chef, but he's never naked. So, don't expect anything you shouldn't.

 

Take it this way: naked in the fashion of emotional baldness, with just one guitar and me. Here’s what you MIGHT witness on stage on 411:

 

1.     Never before performed/released original songs, old and new materials I have been writing since last year

2.     A lot of talking, including but not limited to industry taboos, hot gossip, lord of the rings, travel tips, Mrs. Anson Chan, unsent love letters, Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen etc

3.     Songs I grew up with, turned hated but rediscovered, reloved, renewed again

4.     New machines on stage

5.     Some audience laugh/bored to tears

6.     Explanation of the new album Back to the Stars

7.     Reviewing the various mistakes I made over last year, or worse

8.     Bluffing about the future or the greatness of invention of in ear headphones

9.     Love songs love songs love songs including some untouchable cheesy ‘classics’

10.  Giving away of bday gifts, from me to you (you’ll have your own bday sooner or later anyway)

11.  Anything beyond your imagination

 

About point 6, it’s not a might, but a promise. Actually up til’ now we still have not secured a distributor in Hong Kong, so there’s no exact street date yet. We would have it ready at the venue though, and I will sign it for you.

 

And please, as usual, no bday presents for me, please. You being there is the best gift already. Gift of love and support, what can one ask for more?
