Hello friends,

Hope you all had a wonderful new year holiday and now sooooooo refueled, refreshed and ready to nail down every single thing this year.

This year is my 10th year doing music, guys, you have no idea how grateful I am, having you along the way. Somehow you are the best audience in Hong Kong any performer could ever have, and you know my intentions well. This year, I am gonna do something that fits me and you best: back to basics. I will keep writing, recording and doing shows, be as prolific as I could be.

OK, quick updates:

1: After the great concerts with sis Eman in Macau which we had great fun with the great band, and the great gigs in Hong Kong Arts Centre with my great piano man Edgar, I am thinking of another concert series during Easter in April 2012, in your most favourite venue.

2: The double album ‘I Love You Best’ (愛鄖書) would be released around the same time. SO many things about this project I wanna share with you. This is a project I have been working on nonstop for more than 2 years, no joke, and STILL refining the details. Now finalizing the second disc, I am still not quite sure, but it is probably the most out of the world project I have ever done. Song list will be released soon, but here’s one number from the album for now (yeah I shot and edited the video myself again, I think I am officially addicted):

3: A hits collection of the MANDARIN songs I wrote for other artists would be released soon, featuring 10 to 12 cuts. I will present you the hits’ original image, will strip the songs down to every note and breath, and make it as intimate as possible. Yeah. Again, song list will be released soon.

4: The 6th book of social conscious collective writings is pending, we are closing the deal with our publisher now, hopefully will be out this April.

5: new phase of online shop AND this dear site of ours.

6: Working on some reprinting of some old albums. But this time, I am gonna make some amends in mixing and mastering, or add a track or two, NOT overdo it but try to ‘refine the flaws’. <wink>

Thank you so much for attending the two gigs: The Last Magic Day of 2011 & The First Magic Day of 2012.

So. I promised you 3 albums in 2011, but you could only see One Magic Day available. OK, I have done the other two already, you will see them by the first half of 2012. The two Cantonese albums might come in a pair, named ‘I Love You Best’, 愛鄖書. One hint: you could google ‘I Love You Best’ and ‘鄖書’ and see what’s going on.

I am also excited to tell you that this site will go active again. After all these years, the community in the official site is really the best gathering place. Still working on the logistics with my dear designers, things are looking great.

HK is getting cold again, but not us. I know that for sure.
